Our process

IES Consulting provides internship offers that you can present to your students. Every candidate can present their application online or send their CV directly by e-mail.

To find the right match between student and internship, IES Consulting will conduct a recruitment process based on a phone interview, language test, motivation test, etc.

Once an adequate internship offer corresponding to the student’s profile and interests and the university´s academic requirements alike has been found, a consultant will conduct a last interview with the candidate in order to prepare him/her for the official presentation of his/her application to the company. During this interview, the consultant will advise the student and make sure that the offer is adequate. The final part of the selection process usually involved a further interview directly with the company.

IES Consulting provides support through all formal paperwork and signing of the internship agreement in the case that the company decides to formally accept a student’s application.

IES Consulting maintains permanent contact with the company, the school and the student during the entire duration of the internship.

Internship options

Students can find an internship in any department of a company, for example: marketing, finances, import/export, IT and HR, to name a few. It is important to remember that there are different positions available in every department.

If a student wishes to do an internship in one of our partner hotels, there are two different options: an internship in hotel management (HR, Management Assistance, Purchasing, Marketing, etc.) or in the operative area (Reception, Restaurant, Entertainment, Housekeeping, Bartender, etc.).

Requirements and conditions

Applicants must:

• Be over 18 years old
• Be a student or recent graduate with access to an internship agreement with the education centre or organisation
• Have full insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship
• Obtain a visa if necessary (depending on the nationality and destination)

What is an internship agreement? An internship agreement is a document signed between the student’s education centre, the host company and the student. It details and guarantees the conditions and characteristics of the internship.
