Since 2006, IES Consulting has been working to develop a mobility project for students, helping more than 1000 students to find their internships every year. Despite these efforts, we witness record unemployment rates amongst young people aged between 15 and 30 years (42,9% in November 2011 in Spain). Therefore, to be more helpful to the young, IES Consulting created in December 2011 the association HReporter. The aim is to create a reflection group with the focus on unemployment amongst young people. A team of young volunteers recruited by HReporter will meet with key professionals of the working world in Spain in order to interview them on this urgent matter.
All the videos will be available at www.hreporter.org. The project will be soon released worldwide, by creating a team of reporters working in every country (France, Germany, Italy, Spain...). The ambitious project of creating an international team of reporters on a single subject is not excessive, according to the fact that the situation of young people is becoming more and more critical In Spain, where the association HReporter was born, the alarming youth unemployment rate is with 42,9% twice as high as the EU average (21%).
