Through the internship agreement there is no contractual relationship for the trainee. The training agreement document, which is signed by three parties – the host company, the student and the education institution, provides an academic relationship between the parties, all with a view to promote the successful development of professional experience.

The student in general is covered by an academic insurance, which is given with each matriculation. Therefore the host company’s only responsibility is to contact the education institution in case of an accident or if the health of the trainee is affected.

ABy a non-established formal working relationship there are neither any liabilities of Social Security contributions nor any obligations to start or complete the academic relationship.
